Surrender Haunting Emma Lee Nichols Books
I think this will be short and sweet. It's been way to long since I've read it (the one downfall of a blog hiatus). I'll give it my best shot though!Bennett was the most interesting character for me. I could not figure out the purpose behind his drug use even if it enhanced his powers. It just didn't seem to fit the character I knew. However, when we finally learn what his true intentions were and how the powerful drug use aided in that, I understood the bigger picture. Nothing he did was for himself, but entirely for Emma and to help her defeat Neos.
Emma was really no nonsense this time around. She was actually quite discouraged anytime the group was idle. She wanted the war with Neos to be over with. I was impressed with how well she kept her head on her shoulders. She may have wanted Neos dead and wanted to be the one to do, but she never acted irrationally.
I was afraid with as much of the book that passed by before our final battle took place, that the end would be short. That really irritates me when the ending is rushed. But, I really felt that the author did the ending justice. I was satisfied with the chain events and how the series came to a close!

Surrender Haunting Emma Lee Nichols Books Reviews
Excellent series!
Surrender is a great book, i read the whole series and knew that the last one would be amazing. I would have wanted to know a little more about the author before reading any of the books. I really liked that the book came on time and was in great condition. All around great experiance!
Woah. This series was quite the ride and this last book.. one word to describe it would be.. intense. I really liked the ending, it was a sweet one that made me happy.
I really cried BC it was sad some parts but it was good and are u writing another story to in this series BC I think another story to this series would be nice so pls write on
My daughter love this series
So I really enjoyed this Saga for the most part, Lee Nichols is good at developing characters. In this book I really grew to like Natalie and Lukas even more as well as Coby, Sara, & Harry. Craven and Moorehead were involved as always and there was a lot more action in this book.
Obviously since this was the end of the trilogy we had to deal with Bennett's drug problems, his parents, Emma's parents, killing Neos, Natalie & Lukas' budding relationship, and every other problem in between. This was the book that sews up all the openings left in the plot and story from the first two books. It ties up all of the loose ends.
I found myself really liking Bennett's dad. He was a great character, Simon wasn't in the book much which was kind of sad, I was angry with Bennett throughout the story but towards the end I changed my mind about him. Max was actively involved in this story. It was nice to see the brother/sister relationship. Emma's parents were in this novel with multiple appearances.
I was only left with one real question after reading this book, what did Natalie end up deciding about Lukas? Their feelings were strong but that part was left unfinished to me. She and Emma needed to fight together but she also loved Lukas. I'm not sure if things changed after the big finale between the two of them or not. Either way this was an ending I was satisfied with and I will really miss Coby, Emma, Harry, Sara, Natalie, & Lukas. Even Craven and Moorehead. ) I hope to find another series that I enjoy the characters as much as in this one. They truly cared for each other and it was such a nice diversion from the typical mean girl type books full of love triangles. D
I absolutely loved the first book in this series and subsequently devoured both Deception and the sequel Betrayel in a weekend. Unfortunately it was a good 12+ months until I got onto this final installment and I found it much harder to get into. I'm not to sure if it was simply because I couldn't remember so much of what had happened at the end of book 2 or if it was just a weaker novel I'm not really sure but I did finish this book feeling a bit deflated.
Set immediately after book 2, Emma is desperate and determined to finally destory Neos and save Bennett before his addiction completely destroys both him and their relationship. In order for Emma to do this she must locate the ashes of Neos which has been hidden somewhere on the grounds of Thatcher.
This finale is quite exciting and this book is wrapped up very nicely giving the majority of the characters a nice rounded happy ever after finish. By the time this book was coming to a close I did start to really remember how awesome some other secondary characters in this book was and I'm glad that things seemed to work out in a satisfying way for them all.
Now that the entire trilogy is out I do really think they are a great read especially if you have the time to read them all one after another! This is a fast paced and fun series that I think would suit anyone who likes a good ghost story!
